The idea with the earthworm is from Judy Podgers and I have her permission to write this tutorial.
Any similarity to other tutorials is unintentional.

Let's start with preparing all the twiddly bits.

Step 1
Extract the fonts from the zip file and install them or use any method which suits.

Step 2
Open a new canvas - 400 x 200 px - white.
Click on your Text tool  text - use 101 Flower Z - color # 085006 or darker - size 48 - 3D.
Type your name.
Centre it and move to the bottom with the dashboard down-arrow key, but leave enough room for the worm.
Zoom in, that you can see what you are doing.

Step 3
With the magic want  magic want  and on the plus sign clicked, select the inside of the font like this.

When done, r/click - convert to object.
Paint this with the paintbrush in the same color.

Repeat with the the leaves.
Paint the leaves in a lighter green - r/c on the color and choose window color.
Use the slider.

Repeat with the flowers.
I have painted each flower in a different color, but it is up to you.

Step 4
When everything is painted, highlight the name, leaves and flowers and the painted inside.
R/click - merge as single object.
Close the eye of the base in the Layer Manager.
I have given the name a shadow by duplicating the name while it is still active and filled it with black.
Move the black duplicate to the back.
With the arrow key on the dashboard click two times to the right and once to the top.

Now we are preparing the craw.

Step 5
Select the crazy craw Ding bat
font - size 48 - black - 3D.
Type the letter ' a '.
R/click - convert from path to image.
Erase the black which extends from the beak.

With the magic want select the inside of the beak and the eyes.
R/click - convert to object.
Paint the beak yellow.
Hold down the shift key and highlight the craw as well.
R/click - merge as single object.
Fit the craw to the first letter.

Step 6
While still active,
use the lasso tool and go around the head like this.

R/click - convert to object.
Move the head off the canvas and merge all.
With the magic want, click on the background - r/c invert - r/c convert to object.
Close the eye of the base.

Step 7
While the head is active, use the transform rotating tool and turn the beak up.

Now move the head back onto the canvas.
Fit the head to the duplicated craw.
Activate the duplicated craw and erase the head.
Now hold down the shift key and click on the head.
R/click - merge as single object.

Step 8
Duplicate both craws and flip them horizontally.
Move them to the end of the Text and fit them nicely on top of the last letter.

On the first letter, move the beak up craw to the back.
On the last letter, move the beak down craw to the back.

Step 9
Click on the Line and Arrow tool.

Color Gel G26 - spline - 3D round - size 4 - no shadow.

Draw a worm and make it fit under the appropriate beak.

Click on the path-edit tool  pathedit  - zoom in that you can see what you are doing.
Smooth the worm out.
When satisfied, click out of the path-edit mode.
Duplicate the worm.

Step 10
Keep the top worm activated and with the transform tool, flip it horizontally.

Click on the path edit tool and adjust the worm to fit under the beaks.
Adjust the legth of the worm also to be the same shape as the one below.

Move both worms to the bottom of the Layer Manager.

Save as ufo

Step 11
Open the Gif Animator.
Open an existing file.

Find your ufo file.

first frame

Close the eye of the second worm and both second craws.
Duplicate Frame.

Step 12

second frame

Close the eyes of both first craws.
Highlight both frames in the storyline.
Click on the selection tool  selection tool  and select around the graphic.
Go to Edit - crop canvas.

Highlight the second frame and close the eye of the first worm.
Highlight both frames by clicking on the first one, holding down the shift key, click on the last frame.
R/click on the storyline - Frame Properties - 35.
Preview your animation.
If you like what you have done, optimize it.
Save as gif
