Knowledge of how to use PI
Open a new canvas 800 x 300 - white.
Decorate this canvas with anything you like, but it has to be in a continuous flow.
If, after decorating, you still have white background showing, fill it with a matching color.
R/c - merge all.
Click on your ruler.
With the standard selection tool - round.
Fixed 250 x 250
Click on the canvas nearest to the top.
Remember where your level was. ( Mine was down 30 pix.)
R/c - convert to object.
Open a new canvas - 300 x 300 - transparent.
Pull the circle on to this canvas.
Repeat, moving the curser to 100, 200, 300, 400, 500.
You should have six frames.
With the path tool, draw a glass ball - smooth spine clicked.
Make the glass ball 254 pix, that it covers all of the circles - centre it.
Find a nice ribbon or bow and place it on top of the ball.
Add a little hanging thingy on the top with a ring.
I made mine with a path-shape and used the Edit-path tool to shape it.
Something like this.
You may have to move the balls down, so you have room on top for creating.
Activate all the balls and the glass ball in the layer manager
by holding down the Ctrl key and click on each.
Use the key-board down arrow to move them down.
Crop the image as close as it goes.
Save as ufo.
Open the Gif Animator.
Open an existing file and find your ufo file.
Close all the eyes in the layer manager except the first image, the glass ball and the ribbon and hanging thingy you added.
Add a frame.
Keep the glass ball and hanging thingy with ribbon or bow open.
Close the eye of the first image, open the second image.
Add a frame.
Repeat till you have done all six frames.
In the storyline, change the time to 20 or whatever you fancy.
Preview the Animation.
If you still have little bits coming out of the side, click on the first frame in the storyline - click on the first image in the layer manager to activate - go to Properties - position and write down the position.
Repeat with each image.
Make sure they are all in the same position and have the same size.
Use the glass ball as a guide.
When you think it looks perfect
go to Edit - resize - resize to 150 in hight, the width will adjust itself.
Safe as gif.
Hope you could follow my tut easily.
